A Delray Beach man arrested for an alleged armed robbery after victims identified him as having a lazy eye, according to an arrest report.
The description allowed Delray Beach police to connect Cody Jermaine Bradley to at least one armed robbery Aug. 19.
Bradley, 24, is facing charges of armed robbery, trespassing and resisting arrest without violence and is being held at the Palm Beach County Jail without bond.
Bradley is alleged to have pulled a gun on a 27-year-old man and his girlfriend on the 400 block of South Swinton Avenue, just north of the city water plant. A second unidentified man working with Bradley grabbed the victims’ possessions.
One of the victims told police that the armed robber had a lazy eye. That was also the description given following an armed robbery a few days before, the report said.
Bradley was arrested Monday after Boynton Beach police chased, then pulled over a stolen vehicle that had been involved in an armed car-jacking at the Wal-Mart on 3200 Old Boynton Road, just south of the Boynton Beach Mall. Bradley was seated in the passenger seat when the car was stopped, the report said.
A 17-year-old behind the wheel of the stolen car was also arrested.
