Deputies say Tarvaras Allison, 26, showed up uninvited to a woman’s house on Sept. 26 and began punching and threatening her and stole her car. The report doesn’t specify the relationship between Allison and the 25-year-old victim. He faces charges of aggravated assault, vehicle theft, battery and criminal mischief for damaging her property.
When the deputy arrived at the victim’s house Monday morning, he noted the woman bleeding from her mouth and neck and what appeared to be the aftermath of a fight: Broken furniture and glass cluttered the floors.
The woman said that around 7 that morning, Allison used a key to get into her house and demanded to know where she was on Saturday night. When she told him she had been at her mother’s house, the man called her a liar and punched her. Allison dragged the woman by her hair into the bedroom and then took her purse and keys.
To defend herself, the victim said she grabbed a knife from the kitchen, and Allison responded by grabbing two knives and threatening to stab her with them.
Another woman in the house heard the commotion and tried to jump in between them to de-escalate the situation, but Allison shoved her away. He started breaking items in the living room before driving away in the victim’s 2012 Kia.
Allison is currently being held in PBSO’s Main Detention Center in West Palm Beach on $3,000 bond.
