A Riviera Beach man is being held in the Palm Beach County Jail after he allegedly violated a restraining order taken out by a woman at a Juno Beach restaurant where they were employed, according to an arrest report.
Patrice Theodule is facing a charge of aggravated stalking after an injunction and is being held in lieu of $25,000.
When Jupiter police told Theodule, 29, he would be arrested for violating the restraining order, he responded: “I love her. I’m not afraid of jail. I’m only afraid of God. … If you arrest me, it’s OK,” the report said.
Theodule and the victim worked at the Juno Beach Cafe at Donald Ross Road and U.S. 1.
Theodule had been served with the restraining order on Aug. 12. Four days later, he sent the woman two text messages.
In one message, Theodule writes: “I have a feeling you feel the same about me that I feel about you. … I need you in my life please. I really don’t care what happens. (J)ust tell me im right.”
In a second message sent about eight minutes later, Theodule writes: “Im finding myself falling deeper and deeper in love with you on a daily basis. please tell me im not going crazy, please …”
