At around 2 a.m. Monday FAU Police arrested Charlene Halek, 36, at the university’s Jupiter campus when a witness saw her hit two parked cars and then drive on the wrong side of the street.

FAU Police said Halek appeared to be intoxicated and smelled heavily of alcohol, the police report states. Officers took her to the county jail for a breathalyzer test, where Halek “intentionally” kicked the breath test operator on his chest, police said.

Halek admitted to officers that she was drinking and was charged with a DUI and battery on a law enforcement worker.
