Face-biting stabbings: YouTube clips show glimpse into Harrouff’s interests

Austin Harrouff, the 19-year-old Florida State University student who is accused of fatally stabbing a couple in their southern Martin County home, had begun building a library of YouTube clips within the last few months..

The clips, on a video channel named “A. Frost”, show Harrouff’s interests in music and bodybuilding.

His bodybuilding clips centered around him discussing his philosophies and how he lost weight in the last few months. He occasionally slips into fake accents during these videos.

His music clips touch on a variety of styles — he calls one playlist “Make Trap Great Again”, where he uses the names AustiFrosti or simply Frosti, delves into trap music, which is a cross between hip-hop and electronic dance music, along with pop. Another playlist, called “I Swore I’d Never Quit”, is more pop music and uses another name, Austin Winters. A third playlist, “Devil in Disguise”, has his raps.

His most recent clip, uploaded on Aug. 11, shows a shirtless Harrouff going into a long discussion about why he no longer is interested in following more famous bodybuilders, like Arnold Schwarzenegger, and is instead following his own path.

Another clip, uploaded Aug. 10, discusses why he doesn’t use steroids. He mentions Jason Genova, a fellow bodybuilder.

 

On Aug. 6, Harrouff talks about his favorite “chest exercise”, playing at falling apart at the end.

Uploaded July 6, the song “King of Jupiter” has the following intro: “The king of jupiter florida is me. Also uploaded July 6, the song “Forrest Trump” includes the following intro: “Jenny donald trump wrote you a love not to express his love for your earings which are 15 carrot salad diamonds. if you cant run as fast as forrest gump then you cant run from the law. parental advisory explicit content”. Calling himself “Elvis reborn” and covering the Beatles’ classic, this video of “Let It Be” was uploaded July 13:

On Aug.2, he posted the track “High Standards”, which include lyrics that say while he was getting high, his standards were higher:

On July 11, Harrouff uploaded a series of impressions of trap performer Feddy Wap, perhaps known best for his hit single, “Trap Queen”.
