Donald Fisher was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon and assault on a person older than 65, while his brother, Ronald, was arrested on a charge of cruelty toward a child. The brothers were released under supervision and orders of no contact with witnesses, except each other.

On Thursday, the brothers were at an 81-year-old woman’s home to do yard work. When they refused to cut her hedges, the woman called a teenager over to do them instead. While the boy was cutting the hedges, he took Donald’s ladder, angering him. According to the report, Donald picked up a silver pole and threatened the boy: “Boy, get down from there, I’ll beat your (expletives). I’ll kill you.”

When the boy got down from the ladder, the woman stepped between Donald and the boy, and Donald responded, “Sit your fat (expletive) down or I’ll kill you, too.”

According to a witness, Ronald had been inside the house until he heard the commotion. Ronald came outside with an extension cord and hit the boy twice on his back with the cord.

The teen suffered multiple raised welts across his back, side and left arm.
