An Orlando man followed his ex-girlfriend around West Palm Beach, then threatened to kill her new boyfriend after police told him to leave the woman alone, city police say.

Gordon Jeffrey Raymond, 25, was arrested Thursday on charges of aggravated stalking, throwing a missile into a dwelling and aggravated assault.

In April 2015, Raymond showed up to his ex-girlfriend’s West Palm home and refused to leave. He followed her and her boyfriend to City Place, according to the police report. There, he threatened to fight the man, but nothing escalated, the woman told police.

Later that night, Raymond showed up to the woman’s home and threw a rock through her bedroom window, which shattered while she was inside the room with her boyfriend, she told police.

When the boyfriend confronted Raymond, he threw his hands into the air and threatened again to fight.

The woman called police and Raymond fled.

When police were collecting information, Raymond called and texted the woman several times, the report says. At one point, the officer responded to the call and told Raymond not to contact the woman.

He told the officer he understood and hung up, the report said.

Minutes later, he texted the woman, “Oh you can tell the police that I am going to murder (your boyfriend) … yeah he’s gonna (sic) be dead by next Friday.”

He then wrote,” And don’t just leave your car anywhere. No where is safe,” the report says.

The woman claimed that in the past Raymond took pictures of himself in front of her place of work, asking her to come outside. She also said that he contacted her 113 times in one day. She feared for her safety, she told police.

Raymond is being held on $5,000 bail at the Palm Beach County Jail.
