A drunk passenger slammed a skateboard into the side of a Palm Tran driver’s face after the driver kicked him off the bus, West Palm Beach police report.

James Mark Lindelof, 33, got onto a Palm Tran bus late Saturday at 40th Street and Broadway. Lindelof, whom police say was extremely intoxicated, tried getting into the driver’s seat, the bus driver told police.

The driver then removed Lindelof, a West Palm Beach resident, from the bus and told him he couldn’t get back on.

Lindelof swung his skateboard at the driver, hitting him on the side of the face. The blow knocked the driver onto the pavement, the arrest report states.

Witnesses saw Lindelof flee the area. Police saw him running and stopped him, the report says.

Lindelof faces an aggravated battery charge. He remains in the Palm Beach County Jail with bail set at $3,000.
